When in the Course of human events it again becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with a failed authority and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God as well as our original, properly constituted laws entitle us, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that we should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of we the people; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to repair to their former Systems of Government. The history of the present President, his Congress, and our recalcitrant federal government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

1. It has abused its role over the law and instituted fiat rules that are detrimental to the common good — welfare, cap and trade, oppressive taxes, onerous regulation on business are recent examples.
2. It has forbidden governors of states to pass laws useful to local needs and has interfered in state business.
3. It has refused the right of local government to govern at home and has as a matter of course caused local legislators to carelessly assume they have no power.
4. It has defacto dissolved the authority of state governments so that the representatives of the people constantly defer to rule from Washington.
5. It has refused to secure the borders so that all manner of foreigners of the lowest station might flood these shores without hesitation while refusing to allow those foreigners with useful skills and education to enter and apply for citizenship.
6. It has allowed capricious courts to usurp proper legislative duties and to rule from the bench.
7. It has seated judges with no opposition or investigation and has not required judicial candidates to express an interest in the true meaning of the law of the land.
8. It has erected a multitude of new regulatory offices few of which have any basis in the Constitution and has as a form of graft filled them with friends, lobbyists, and placemen.
9. It has refused to properly fund our armies in times of peace without including graft and monies unconnected to the needs of our armed forces.
10. It has therefore interfered with the military stopping it from operating at peak efficiency.
11. It has conspired with powers outside our duly constituted authority to take away our constitutional rights, to subvert our national laws, and has given assent to forces s

Anarchy: a theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society.

 

Sounds good to me. I do know that whether or not we have a Govt. or not, but I do know that any Interest Bearing currency is USURY! Anyone who deosn't think that the Oz in Wizard of OZ was talking about anything other than Ounces of gold and silver is insane!

 

I do not pretend to know what is best for everyone, that is not my place, as there are more learned than I to answer that. I don't if Anarchy and self-government is best, or whether there are too many sheople that need to be herded, but I do echo the words of NEO from the end of the Matrix:

WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT NEED A CON CON SO WE CAN BE CONNED AGAIN! The CONstitution was just that! A CON! THE VERY DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER, AND EXPECTING A DIFFERENT OUTCOME!

 

Seem extreme? Not at all. Honestly, I despise strict Constitutionalists, because they are as much the problem than ever the cure.  Don't believe me?

 

Article 1, Section 8:

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States

 

This is what has opened the door to the Foreign Federal Reserve and unlimited FEDERAL POWERS. Read the Anti-Federalist Papers sometime and see what the other side brings to the table as to what constitutes true freedom.

 

"To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;"

 

Another power that should have never come into being....why do you think Obama-Rama says it is CONstitutional to murder Americans? Because IT IS!

 

"To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof."

 

And This is all contained in just the FIRST ARTICLE! With this one all the DEPARTMENTS that you complain of were CONstitutionally mandated, from Education to Homeland Security, and the Alphabet Agencies!

 

"Section. 10.No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility."

 

Again, this strips States of all their rights, and if you think the Tenth Amendment cured this, then you are mistaken. Read what it says again, "Rights not enumerated." These are enumerated!

 

ARTICLE III, Section. 1. The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

 

How can a Martial Executive document create a Judiciary, unless it is a part of the overall Govt. Authority?!!! There has neverbeen a Separation of Powers, for they were all created under the same blanket authority in the same document created by a few rich Slave-Owners that actually could afford Land? They usurped the Authority. The 1% made all the rules that benefitted themselves at the expense of the 99%!!!!

 

No, we need a new FORM of GOVT., or a new way of instituting True Anarchy. What is the definition of Anarchy? "a theory

Ever since the 2003 “Help America Vote Act” gave all the states money to buy electronic election fraud machines, your singular role in our government has been stolen; as a result, the atrocity of our corporate & banker complicit government has mounted. We the people are the only true way to straighten this mess out. We the people are the only way to create the form of government that is best promotive to our happiness. The very definition of a peaceful revolution is a federal constitutional convention. Why are we hardwired not to accept that possibility? A constitution not being followed, whole or in part, is a dead document.

Thx, Nikki, James  and you too in a way, Ken. You seem to have missed the whole point. You want to form your own limits to a Govt. that doesn't yet exist. Kind of putting the cart before the horse. A list of Demands does none of these things. It sets out the goals and not the details.

Addition: Term limits - One term  presidents with strict conditions of shortened terms should they initiate any violent actions exceeding 90 days.  Two consecutive term congress.

 

Keep govt honest with  popular vote every 10, 25, or 50 years for Federal Constitutional Convention.

 

Remove the monetary requirement to run for public office, this is an easy thing to do; create c-span(state) a channel for each state that allows candidates with the proper requirements for office
(signatures) to gain free, equal, in person only, air time; this would bust out
the 2 party system, allow those with real ideas to gain office, remove the
practice of feel good/bad campaigns, remove the plutocrats/corporatists from
office, and create new parties; the two party system of govt. does not
represent the diversity of our country.

 

Bring back the real 13th Amendment that bars lawyers from public office.  This should encourage legislation to become  legible to the common man, rather in lawyer speak.

 

Prohibit dual citizens from high office and agency.  If this was  enacted now, a third of congress would be fired.

 

Government agencies are under presidential authority,  remove that authority and make those agency heads electable offices. The agencies that make the cut, end DHS, CIA, Dept. of Education, ...

Remove the practice of anti-trust exemptions.  This is a favored fund raising tactic of congress. They enact tough legislation, then sell off exemptions.
