French police chief flew prostitutes to NY for orgies with DSK when he was running IMF

Police chief 'organised orgy for Strauss-Kahn and flew over to New York with prostitutes for him'

A police chief who hoped to guard Dominique Strauss-Kahn if he became President of France organised an orgy with him in a Paris hotel, it was claimed today.

The senior officer is also said to have accompanied prostitutes to New York to meet up with Mr Strauss-Kahn when he was in charge of the International Monetary Fund.

The well-sourced allegations about Jean-Christophe Lagarde are not only deeply embarrassing for Mr Strauss-Kahn, but point to wide-scale corruption at the heart of French political life.

They emerged during an inquiry into an underage prostitute racket in northern France which has already seen five men, including a lawyer and businessman, arrested.

Prostitution in France (the exchange of sexual services for money) is not illegal, but several surrounding activities are. These include soliciting, procuring, operating a brothel (maisons closeslupanar or bordel in French), living off the avails, and paying for sex with someone under the age of 18.

Prostitution should not be illegal and France is ahead of most other countries in that respect.  But bringing prostitutes across borders is illegal in the US and many other countries and is considered trafficking.

The legality of prostitution in Europe varies by country. Some countries outlaw the act of engaging in sexual activity in exchange for money, while others allow prostitution itself, but prohibit most forms of procuring (such as operating brothels, facilitating the prostitution of another, deriving financial gain from the prostitution of another, soliciting/loitering, etc.).

In eight European countries (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Hungary and Latvia) prostitution is legal and regulated.

The degree of enforcement of the anti-prostitution laws vary by country, by region and by city. In many places there is a big discrepancy between the laws which exist on the books and what happens in practice.

Depending on the country, various prostitution related activities may be prohibited (where a specific law forbids such activity), decriminalized (where there is no specific law either forbidding or allowing and regulating the activity), or regulated (where a specific law explicitly allows and regulates the activity if certain conditions are met). Activities which are subject to the prostitution laws include: selling and buying sexual services, soliciting in public places, running brothels, deriving financial gain from the prostitution of another, offering premises to be used for prostitution etc. Often the prostitution laws are not clear cut and are subject to interpretation, leading to many legal grey areas. While the policy regarding adult prostituting differs by country, child prostitution is illegal throughout Europe. Similarly, human trafficking, forced prostitution and other abusive activities are also prohibited.

The legal and social treatment of prostitution differs widely by country.

Very liberal prostitution policies exist in the Netherlands and Germany, and these countries are major destinations for international sex tourismAmsterdam's prostitution windows are (in)famous all over the world.

In Sweden, Norway, and Iceland it is illegal to pay for sex, but not to be a prostitute (the client commits a crime, but not the prostitute).

In Eastern Europe, the anti-prostitution laws target the prostitutes, because in these countries prostitution is condemned from a moral\conservative viewpoint.

Other countries which have restrictive prostitution policies and officially affirm an anti-prostitution stance are the UK, Ireland and France.

Among countries where prostitution is not officially and legally regulated and recognized as a job, laissez-faire and tolerant attitudes exist in Spain, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

Prostitution in Europe

"What countries have legal prostitution?"

It would be easier to ask which countries is it illegal in, that would be a very short list, with mainly the U.S. were consenting adult sexual rights are denied.

Prostitution is LEGAL (with some restrictions that aren't that bad) in Canada, most all of Europe including England, France, Wales, Denmark, etc., most of South America including most of Mexico (often in special zones), Brazil, Israel (Tel Aviv known as the brothel capital of the world), Australia, and many other countries. It is either legal or very tolerated in most all of Asia and even Iran has "temporary wives" which can be for only a few hours! New Zealandpassed in 2003 one of the most comprehensive decriminalization acts which even made street hookers legal which is causing many concerns.  I do NOT support public nuisance street hookers being legal unless in special zones.   But PRIVATE consenting adult sexwork should be legal as it is in most of the world except the U.S.

There's quite a divide between Western and Eastern Europe.  And notice in the countries where prostitution is illegal there are problems with trafficking.

(Oh it shouldn't but then I think the same is at play here as in making drugs illegal...leaving/making things legal stops the gravy train. I doubt there is a pimp who doesn't have a cop on his payroll...)

That's the point, Nota.  And having a dumbed-down population of zealots who supports keeping everything illegal makes it so easy for them.

Indeed! BTW: Here is a story from yesterday. I should have added "...or the cop IS the pimp!"

NYPD Detective Pimps Out 13 Year Old Runaway?

One thing has always bothered me about all this hoopla...him doing a few ladies is big news but him screwing over literally billions of men, women and children (as IMF head, that is his job), not a whiff.....

Of course the MSM will never report the obvious.  But his attitude towards women goes to character.  And many elites are degenerates.
