The U.S. Senate is considering the unthinkable: changing detention laws to imprison people — including Americans living in the United States itself — indefinitely and without charge.
The Defense Authorization bill — a "must-pass" piece of legislation — is headed to the Senate floor with troubling provisions that would give the President — and all future presidents — the authority to indefinitely imprison people, without charge or trial, both abroad and inside the United States.
Urge your Senators to oppose sections 1031 and 1032 of the Defense Authorization bill.

I sent an email to my senator this morning 11/29/2011. I stated in a very clear concise manner that he CANNOT vote for this monstrosity. I don't know if it did any good, but at least I tried.
Sick, unbelievable? I wish there was a button dislike. I 'm not bashing the info or writer. I just can not press like on a serious messed up bill. Lisa K
Lisa, it only gets worse. In that same bill was a provision to render sodomy and beastiality legal. As time goes on we are probably going to hear more bs coming out of this and other bills those turncoats in washington are cranking out. Make no mistake, these acts are intentional, these bastards want nothing more than to destroy this country. As for myself, I am going to pray harder than ever before and become a lot more active in the Oathkeepers. The oathkeepers is an organization whereby we encourage all veterans and law enforcement officers to adhere to the oath we took upon enlistment, not the people in government. You can read more about them at Oathkeepers.org/.
