There seems to be a big black cloud hovering over my soon to be former employer. There has been so many tragedies, deaths and cancer popping up in such a short period of time. It starts making one wonder... what the hell is going on?

In just the last year of working there, one co-worker's cancer came back after remission (she had an operation to remove the tumors and she is ok now) but she just found out a couple of months ago, her husband has brain cancer and it is inoperable. And there is a couple of other ladies husbands who have been battling cancer too (one with brain and the other lung cancer).

And a couple weeks ago, a young lady went home early, complaining about massive pains on her side. Come to find out, she had a couple of tumors (thankfully not cancerous) and had massive surgery to have them removed just recently. She will be out of work for awhile.

And then there was Jane's husband who died of a heart attack 4 months ago and a mother and daughter who work there who lost their daughter/sister to suicide only 2 months ago.

I lost my stepdaughter Shea, a little over a year ago to a long battle with gastrointestinal issues which led to her whole digestive system shutting down progressively. It is a long sordid tale.

I don't want to depress anyone. I'm just trying to figure out wtf is going on? There's so much disease and cancer around me, especially in the last 6 months. It defies logic. All these people are young and in the prime of their lives.

Thank God I'm almost done working for my soon to be former employer. My heart, soul and mind can't take it anymore... in more ways than one.
