Republic,or Democracy, The poor are always suppressed. The poor,fight the wars, The rich buy their way out. Vietnam was that kind of conflict, deferments were only awarded to the well to do, Vietnam was basically fought with poor folks. But I must add that they were some of the finest people on the planet. They had your back, it was a brotherhood of arms. We all gave some, some gave all. I owe my life to the ones that did not come home. "Rest In Peace My Brothers"

To 5 fires, I am sorry that I miss quoted, it happens, I'm only human. As for the this nation being around for 234 years what is your point! I don't mind criticism but it seems you have something more challenging in mind. I don't have time for your BS. I have credentials to show my loyalty to this country, I fought for it, I shed blood for it, and came home missing body parts. It hasn't limited my ability to function, and I dearly love this country. hopefully if this country ever has to stand up and be counted, I won't have stand next to you, I would not feel you had my back I would probably have to place a bullet in your skull before I fight the enemy. @ John - first off, we're not a Democracy... the united States of America is a Republic, and if we fal it's because we've become a Democracy of the worst kind. Incidently we've only be around 234 years.

No democracy has ever lasted as long as America, No where in the world, ever! So why are we so surprised that this one is failing. We could reverse and change the direction we are heading but know one seems to raise the question are we ready for the fight, are we ready for the consequences and Sacrifices that would be necessary to win. It is easy to say take up arms, and get prepared, but for those of us who have fought and sacrificed in combat, we know that it takes more than words to win a battle, it takes blood letting, and if you have never been in a firefight, you don't have a clue of whats at stake. I don't know if I have enough left to give. Besides I would have a problem raising a weapon against my fellow soldiers, and that is what it would be another civil war.

Good videos, thanks. The generator however I would not do, too noisy. People hear it and they know you are running for a reason. Power Inverters and Marine Batteries, plus a small solar panel. We have a generator but wouldn't use it, we will do the inverters.

Long guns are easily spotted and the laws will still be in effect, only the desperate and criminals wouldn't be bothered by them. Pistols can be carried without notice. Semi Autos spread lead and easily reloaded so one can escape the attack. Long guns at home. Love the AK picture.

Silver over Gold, IMHO. Silver has never been called up and if it is .9999 you can use it to make Colloidal Silver. Serves two purposes. Just make sure it is 4-9s or it will poison you to use.

Keep a few cars full at all times. We keep at least 7 of our vehicles full, plus our bike. Just in case.

Solar Motion Detector Lights outside, no worries for lighting. Plus some solar lights that stay on.

Lamps can use Mineral Spirits as well as Lamp Oil.

I'll get in trouble for this one. Place fishing hooks face high in woods, in tall grass, tie them to something stable and toss. It will not kill them but you will know where they are, lol.
