why?  I'll tell you why and what this is leading up to.  It will be a double cross following the signing of a coming Peace covenant between British Israel and the soon to be defunct Roman Catholic church after Disclosure. 

 

“abomination of desolation” refers to Matthew 24:15 (KJV): “So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand.” This is referring to Daniel 9:27, “He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” In 167 B.C. a Greek ruler by the name of Antiochus Epiphanies set up an altar to Zeus over the altar of burnt offerings in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. He also sacrificed a pig on the altar in the Temple in Jerusalem. This event is known as the abomination of desolation.
In Matthew 24:15, Jesus was speaking some 200 years after the abomination of desolation described above had already occurred. So, Jesus must have been prophesying that some time in the future another abomination of desolation would occur in a Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Most Bible prophecy interpreters believe that Jesus was referring to the Antichrist who will do something very similar to what Antiochus Epiphanies did. This is confirmed by the fact that some of what Daniel prophesied in Daniel 9:27 did not occur in 167 B.C. with Antiochus Epiphanies. Antiochus did not confirm a covenant with Israel for seven years. It is the Antichrist who, in the end times, will establish a covenant with Israel for seven years and then break it by doing something similar to the abomination of desolation in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem.
Whatever the future abomination of desolation is, it will leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that the one perpetrating it is the person known as the Antichrist. Revelation 13:14 describes him making some kind of image which all are forced to worship. Turning the temple of the living God into a place of worship for the Antichrist is truly an “abomination.” Those who are alive and remain during the tribulation should be watchful and recognize that this event is the beginning of 3 1/2 years of the worst of the tribulation period and that the return of the Lord Jesus is imminent. “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36).

Just some thoughts,

Should Iran be successful implementing its nuclear program wouldn't it become a "local superpower" that would lure Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other Regional States -including Oil Rich Islamic former Soviet Republics- into an Independent Alliance no longer under the tutelage of Washington?

Wouldn't it be then a question of facing a Rising Iran or Loosing the entire Middle East? Minus whatever is left of Israel IF there is anything left after a global war, that is.

Look at the Iranian Latin American Allies which Ahmadinejad visited just a few days ago- don't laugh yet- Cuba ... too close, well armed, allied with traditional Anti American powers and unfriendly; Venezuela, well armed, with North Korea, Russia and China as allies... and Oil Rich, along with Iran, among the world's top crude oil exporters, plus Ecuador that might seem like a joke but is also Oil Rich enough to be a member of OPEC; Guatemala and Nicaragua a threat to strategic Panama and the Canal and as Anti American as they come. What does America has there? Mexico already set into presidential and congress elections and an electorate split between pro and anti American candidates supported by drug cartel's money; Honduras and Colombia, spreading the Imperial forces even further as if "policing" the South China Seas were not enough.

Can the Empire really afford all this?

We the People can stil lfire our Federal Government by the vote. We can still halt all the associated evils by D.C. ,and restore our Constitution as the LAWS of our land. Live in the present knowing the past to avoid the insanity of repeating the same mistakes into insanityville. Watch Saudi's go koo-ko on Iran if there is a need.

Sometimes I rant because I am connected so closely to the action in the Straights of Hormuz. I can not help but see the truth, it breaks my heart, but I also know that choices have to be made. How many others have to face this choice? This choice is not acceptable. The world should not have to make such choices because of insanity.

@Mystery, it's insanity for sure and there are NO justifiable reasons for any military action.  But Iran is at the top of their wish list nonetheless and we'll all be caught in the crossfire.

Iran does not face military action in my opinion because of the nuclear program, or any other program. It is insane desire to control the power and money of the world. Iran is one of only three, yes that's right, three countries of the world that are not controlled by the Rothschild banking empire. Iran, Syria, and Cuba have to be the bravest people on the planet, or the ones with the least desirable natural resources. If anyone would care for a Rothschild linage of bank take overs I can provide the time line link. We are pawns in a struggle for absolute power. The French had the right idea. Plans need to be made. The insanity has consumed their minds. We are considered Goy, expendable. Time is our enemy, they are taught generation after generation to be controllers.

There are so many reasons we almost have to ask why wouldn't the US want to attack Iran.  It has been their goal for decades.  But why did the US allow their guy, the Shah, to be overthrown?  I've never heard a satisfactory explanation, any ideas?

Vincent, you nailed it. Recall that Saddam Hussein said he wouldn't take dollars for oil anymore when Clinton was in his way out in 2000. The American People are basically decent, and wouldn't have sustained a government that required destruction for all dollar rebels. Hence 911 and the War on "Terror", or non-dollar based money.
End The Fed, stop most American evil. We're no worse than other people, on average. Our system has been hijacked.
