Comment by theresa musselwhite on January 13, 2012 at 2:57pm: @Nikki: ok, it would significantly affect us adversely - china, russia and 5 other states are members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) - they specifically formed to counter-balance NATO - to rid the east of western presence - iran was an observer in this organization until a few days ago when they petitioned membership - scary indeed

The book was written as a tribute to Emanuel Swedenborg whom Helen regarded as "one of the noblest champions true Christianity has ever known." This book is regarded as Helen's Keller's spiritual autobiography in which she openly declares that "the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg have been my light, and a staff in my hand and by his vision splendid I am attended on my way."
