Tuesday, October 15, 2013 3:43 PMIn a surprisingly 'under-the-radar' development, some Los Angeles County Courts have resorted to offering nearly one year extensions to motorists who seek extensions on their traffic tickets. In L.A. County, people can request an extension online or over the telephone. LibertyFight.com has recently become aware of two people who have requested a second extension in person at the court and both have been given court dates for 2014! This is one circumstance where the inefficiency of government can definitely work in ones favor. There is a good reason for always getting an extension on traffic tickets. The likelihood of the prosecution witness (the cop) to remember you and to show up after nearly a year is greatly diminished. You have nothing to lose by extending this out as long as possible. Take advantage of this predator government's weaknesses and throw a wrench in their revenue schemes!
