Not sure just how long evil has been around but I've not seen that figure. Even still, probably not been evil but about the same age as mankind, remember the fall was thought to be over man. Still, evil doesn't sleep, don't eat, don't rest. They were here when all was created and watch us all the time. So they are wise. Probably why the Bible says the quote you quoted, wise as serpents yet harmless as doves. On must remember that one cannot overcome evil with evil, but with good.

Just now getting back online. My son was in the hospital another long week, slow recovery but healing better now.

Try this again. I watched this one and 2 other things with him on them, 2 are 13 part Youtube videos and one is a 12 part video. I'll not say I'm 100% in agreement with everything he says but most of it I am. Worth the listen.

Just now back online after some time....thank you all for the prayers, they have truly moved the Father's hand.  My son, Brandon, was in the VA hospital in Gainsville, Florida for a week. I stayed with him during that week and witnessed the most caring, loving people in the world. I know all VA hosps are not that way, this one is the exception.  They were wonderful.
They installed a heart monitor just under his chest wall to monitor heart rates and rhythms, irregularities may be causing him to pass out.  He seems to be doing well.  I take him for all doctor visits and to his speech therapy (aphasia due to stroke), and will be taking him to be evaluated for a robotic glove that may allow him to use his paralyzed hand again!! 
He is a very gifted guitarist and hasnt used his right hand since the stroke...the possibility of playing his guitar again has given him such hope.

@Luke  Brother, I am praying for your Mother...and will continue too.  Will also have other prayer partners pray for her.
