September 24, 2009 "Huffington Post' -- In the debate over the PATRIOT Act, the Bush White House insisted it needed the authority to search people's homes without their permission or knowledge so that terrorists wouldn't be tipped off that they're under investigation.
Now that the authority is law, how has the Department of Justice used the new power? To go after drug dealers.
Tremendous news! I just got off the phone with Dr. Paul's publisher, and Ron's new book End The Fed will enter the NYT's bestsellers list at #6. This new book is a great tool for spreading the message of sound money.
These results are on par with last year's initial success of The Revolution: A Manifesto. Keep in mind, the fall is a much more competetive time… Continue

I have been out of touch and was trying to get update information on the Browns. Thanks for the info. Is there a place that keeps updates regularly? I was not able to identify one, if it exists.
I know both Ed and Elaine Brown had reclaimed their own individual sovereignty as is lawful to do, and according to the Declaration of Independence, it is their "duty" to through off such government in order to secure their liberty, beings and property.
A fast-growing FBI data-mining system billed as a tool for hunting terrorists is being used in hacker and domestic criminal investigations, and now contains tens of thousands of records from private corporate databases, including car-rental companies, large hotel chains and at least one national department store, declassified documents obtained by Wired.com show.
Headquartered in Crystal City, Virginia, just outside Washington, the FBI’s National Security Branch Analysis Center… Continue

TEGUCIGALPA -- It's been 89 days since Manuel Zelaya was booted from power. He's sleeping on chairs, and he claims his throat is sore from toxic gases and ``Israeli mercenaries'' are torturing him with high-frequency radiation.
``We are being threatened with death,'' he said in an interview with The Miami Herald, adding that mercenaries were likely to storm the embassy where he has been holed up since Monday and assassinate… Continue

Bank of America ordered flags removed for fallen Marine's funeral***Updated***
The Marine was killed in action in Afghanistan and local citizens were placing flags along the funeral procession route. BOA says it was a misunderstanding of corporate policy. That would be the same BOA who received a $20 billion taxpayer bailout and another $119 billion government-backed guarantee for their bad assets.
America's first family will get vaccinated against swine flu when they are advised to, President Barack Obama said in a television interview broadcast Sunday.
"We want to get vaccinated. We think it's the right thing to do. We will stand in line like everybody else and when folks say it's our turn, that's when we'll get it," Obama told CNN's…
I am writing at the request of your constituent, Ms. Marlene MacFarlane, with whom I share a grave concern regarding Bill C-6, which your government passed on June 11th and forwarded to the Senate, where it is at Second Reading.
Ms. MacFarlane rightly expressed to you that we in the health freedom movement are not fooled by… Continue

One of the strongest opponents of government intervention in reforming the health care industry is Ron Paul — a Republican congressman from Texas. He's known to some as "Dr. No" for his opposition to tax hikes and refusal to vote for spending bills. He's a doctor by training — an OB-GYN — and he's written a new book called End the Fed — as in the Federal Reserve. He tells Weekend All Things Considered host Guy Raz that he doesn't believe health care is a… Continue

Obama yesterday expressed concern at the sorry state of the news industry and said that he will look at a news paper bailout, because otherwise, blogs will take over the world, and that would be a threat to democracy, The Hill reports.
"I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put… Continue
