On Sunday, December 7, 1941, Japan launched a sneak attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, shattering the peace of a beautiful Hawaiian morning and leaving much of the fleet broken and burning. 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor and the September 10th, 1945 Issue of TIME Magazine

Today is the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks of Dec 7, 1941.

During a visit to a local antique store, I came across a relic of an issue of Time magazine for $6.00.

Dated September 10th, 1945, I quickly looked inside to see what I would find. What a score! I felt like I was reading the 9/11 Commission Report, or at least a summary of it.

NYPD moves to limit public access to local crime information
