Rainwater Crimes: Man Gets Jail & Fines For Collecting On His Own Land

Gary Harrington had no idea that he was a water criminal under an obscure 1925 law until 2002 when state bureaucrats told him that his three reservoirs were illegal collection devices that were a crime against his community.

"An individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law."

Martin Luther King, Jr.

The water law and its application is a classic case of arising collectivism. Step by step all rights are taken away. In the end you cannot even breath without a license.

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP - NOW.

These issues that the collective systems oppose; water rights, keeping your owns garden, drinking fluoride free water, not to take vaccinations, not to let your children be indoctrinated at school, gun rights, freedom of expression, and many others are an indication of a sick society in many countries east or west, left or right. The assault on such rights is absurd. It's so unbelievable that you don't know whether to laugh or cry unless you knew the real reason. It a very serious attack against humanity and individuality in a covert war.

I'm laughing so hard my sides are splitting.........a crime to collect rain water? And they wonder why people go nuts on them....i'm afraid the lives of those who did it to him would become seriously miserable after he got out, if it were been me........

Tara,

The global agenda of diminishing private property and civil rights in advancing at full speed. There is already a lot of legislation that is against the constitution and should be cancelled. The original idea was that the government would serve the people and not the other way around. Now the government is serving the high cabal and enslaving the people.

Wow, the insanity of it. Who would have ever thought 50 years ago that collecting rainwater could become a criminal act one day. And I like the way they worded, "illegal collection devices that were a crime against his community." It's almost close to the wording, "crimes against humanity" making it sound so horribly wrong.... such a bad bad human.

And I agree, we'll need a license to breathe one day. However, if Cap-n-Trade ever becomes a reality here in the States, we'll be paying to breathe, literally.
