Iraqi teens stoned to death for wearing 'emo' clothes
BAGHDAD -- At least 14 youths have been stoned to death in Baghdad in the past three weeks in what appears to be a campaign by Shiite militants against youths wearing Western-style "emo" clothes and haircuts, security and hospital sources say.

Nope...I just loathe that particular subculture that became a parody of itself years ago, and do my utmost to mock it, whenever possible. ;)

My thinking on this is it is a terrible thing to be born into a culture that would kill you for being different. How awful to have the desire to see someone dead rather than see them look different and be happy with who they feel they are for a brief period of time in their lives. Beware this is probably coming to an area near you before to long. Conform with a uniform, don't be different. It has already hit some of the schools around our nation. Think of how many people you see on a daily basis that is in some kind of uniform (or required dress). Like wearing the same type of clothing makes you easier to control. Or is it that to have the job you have to relinquish part of your own identity, from Burger King to Wall Street everyone has a uniform.
