Come join me for another True Sync Radio show Tues, Aug 7th at 6 pm central time. I will be featuring an awesome band out of Great Britian, Porcupine Tree.
I have often described them as sounding similar to Pink Floyd but with a harder edge. They interweave, beautiful melodies, intricate rhythmns, hard hitting riffs along with deeply profound and thought provoking lyrics.
Porcupine Tree has been around for the last couple of decades and has put out several CD's. But however, they still remain quite unheard of and obscure in the fickle world of the music industry. They've been able to hold onto their music integrity and independence throughout and that is the right ingredients to have longevity and withstand the test of time. They rock... and roll!

Thanks for the few of you who tuned in yesterday. I think there were a whopping 4, woot!
11 shows under the belt but nobody listening in. It's like being in a band playing for an empty house. It makes for a great paid practice though, lol. But I'm not getting paid for my show of course ;) I do have a lot of fun doing it but on the same token, it's a lot of work on my end; producing, dj-ng, recording and at the end of the day I'm asking myself, is it worth the amount of time and work put into it? I'm not so sure anymore.
I'm going out of town next week so there will be no Tues show and I'm contemplating whether or not to keep the show going there after.
But thank you once again for those of you that have supported my show since the beginning. That has meant a lot to me.
It's been quite the experience and I've learned much. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd ever have my own music radio show, especially since I had no experience at all when I started the shows. And also, this is coming from a girl when having to give speeches in class as a teenager, I'd literally have panic attacks. I've come a long way :)
