Holy $&#%! **Khaled Saffuri** is the source for these Jamal Khashoggi stories? Khaled Saffuri, longtime aide to US al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi (currently in federal prison) and friend of convicted/deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian??
Just a reminder that Khaled Saffuri’s former boss, Alamoudi, was convicted for being the bagman in an al-Qaeda/Libyan plot to assassinate the Saudi Crown Prince. Yeah, totally unbiased observer!
As @paulsperry_ discovered, Khaled Saffuri was the registered lobbyist for Alamoudi’s American Muslim Council front sperryfiles.com/images/8-5.jpg
And as Franklin Foer at the New Republic revealed, when Khaled Saffuri opened up shop as the Islamic Free Market Institute, his first event was funded by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign
And as I reported back in 2016, one of the prime promoters of Alamoudi and Khaled Saffuri, his deputy at the time, was none other than then-First Lady Hillary Clinton. Alamoudi and Saffuri arranged the first White House Iftar for the Clintons.
Who brought his former boss, al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi, to meet with then GOP presidential candidate George W. Bush and Karl Rove in 2000? That's right, Khaled Saffuri, the source of the media's recent Jamal Khashoggi scoops. Here they both are with Bush
After Khaled Saffuri's former boss, al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi, was convicted for playing bagman in the Libyan intel plot to assassinate the Saudi Crown Prince, Ken Timmerman wrote about Saffuri's extensive terror ties. N.B. for when you see media citing Saffuri.
Here's the WAPO reporting from when Khaled Saffuri's mentor and former boss, al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Almoudi, was arrested and later plead guilty as the bagman in the Libyan intel/Al-Qaeda plot to assassinate the Saudi Crown Prince.
Another @paulsperry_ discovery was that al-Qaeda fundraiser Alamoudi provided the start-up funds for Khaled Saffuri's Islamic Free Market Institute

REWIND: It wasn't even 24 hours before the media establishment was trying to gaslight the attempted assassination of GOP
Much like the media is trying to blame Trump for the Khashoggi situation, they were trying to blame him for last year’s assassination attempt of GOP congressmen by a Bernie bro
The @nytimes responded to the attempted assassination of GOP congressmen by dismissing the hostile anti-Trump atmosphere, and resurrecting the false smear that @SarahPalinUSA was responsible for inciting the Gabby Gifford’s shooting

ALERT ALERT NOW HEAR THIS NOW HEAR THIS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY FOLLOWERS MUST RT THE FOLLOWING THREAD TO MAKE IT GO VIRAL. THIS NEEDS TO GET OUT *RIGHT THE HECK NOW*
As Wictor was saying, this was an attempt to frame the Saudis. Guy connected to an AQ terrorist who attempted to ASSASSINATE Mohommad Bin Salman is the *source* for these Kashoggi stories.
If this had been known *from the beginning* we wouldn't have gotte 3 days of media hysteria over an attempt to frame Mohmmad Bin Salman and Saudi Arabia for Kashoggi's disappearance.

The @martinchulov @guardianinterview with bin Laden's mother has severe shortcomings (thread) theguardian.com/world/2018/aug…
2. "...by allowing the Bin Ladens to tell their story, they can demonstrate that an outcast – not an agent – was responsible for 9/11"To his credit, @martinchulov does make clear the Saudi govt goal in facilitating this interview, which was probably the brainchild of @qorvis
3. However, it appears that, intoxicated by the opportunity for such an extraordinary interview, @martinchulov became unduly sympathetic to the kingdom's objectives, too quick to repeat its talking points. Result: @guardianacted as a de facto PR outlet for the kingdom

The Economic history of India is one that evokes strong reactions It is a topic on which the reactions of both the Right and Left are at odds with the mainstream view of economists Let's study the principal reactions, and in the process survey the Economic history of India!
So here are 3 views - 1. Mainstream : India was a subsistence economy for much of its history until it started growing in the past 3-4 decades (Contd...)
2. Nationalist view (Right): Ancient ndia was a Sone ki Chidiya which was impoverished by Muslim and later British rule 3. Nationalist view (Left): Mughal India was a Sone ki Chidiya which was badly impoverished by colonial era free trade, and has recovered since independence

Is President Obama Reading A Muslim Book Called The Post-American World? wafflesatnoon.com/is-president-o…
Why was this immediately disregarded as false? What is ‘Post-American World by Fareed Zakaria’? Why is this relevant? Why would the President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA be reading this book? What church did BO attend as pre-POTUS? Who was BO’s mentor?
How is Alwaleed and HRC connected? Who was HRC’s mentor? How is Alwaleed and Bush Sr./Jr. connected? What occurred post 9-11? What war did we enter into? What was the purpose and disclosures given re: justification?Who financed 9-11?

Hey everybody this chart is great news on two fronts: 1) only 12.1% of Canada's 15-29 year olds are not working, in school or training. We can do better, but we're better than most of OECD's 36 nations. 2) this number was 16.6% 5 days ago. Shocking. Here's what happened next /2
It seemed high given we were 9th worst out of 36 countries. @AlexUsherHESA pointed out relatively high PSE enrolments and relatively low unemployment made it seem odd. StatCan doesn't publish data series on the category. 1 monograph here: statcan.gc.ca/daily-quotidie… /3
That's for 15-19 year olds only, and only for 2016. I asked them for the data series for 15-29 year olds, because they were likely the originators of the data OECD used. The 2016 value was much lower than the OECD. OECD needs to make data from around the world comparable. /4

Having read the Michael Wolff piece in @NYMag, I can you tell you this: if he INVENTED all these numerous quotes from Steven Bannon, he's going to be fired and sued up the wazoo. Bannon strangely didn't even ALLUDE to this book in his radio show tonight, I'm told.
I"m now at the completely laughable paragraph where Wolff is relating the story of how Bannon demanded $50 million for Trump's own campaign and Trump would only reluctantly hand over $10 million.
Wolff would have us believe Trump was HORRIFIED at the fact he'd won the election, and then in less than hour, transformed himself into the man you see in the video below:
