At least one billion becquerels a day of radiation continue to leak from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant after the March earthquake and tsunami.

Plane crash kills 2, injures 75 at US air show

­A vintage airplane crashed into the box seat area at an air show at Reno-Stead Airport in the southwestern US, injuring at least 75 people. Two people were killed in the crash, including the pilot, Jimmy Leeward, say medical officials.
