Be A Part Of The New 12160 News Brief, If Your Interested Leave A Comment.
This news brief will be about 15min long and consist of short 2-3min clips of YOU the members reading and going over the most important news of the week ether audio or video(video preferred). It can be opinion and analysis as well whatever you think would be informative and entertaining. Then just upload the clip as friend only possibly private I believe you can still give out the video source URL as private, we'll find out. Myself and others will edit the clips together into a 15min youtube clip that will also be posted here at 12160.
About copyright, you can read an entire news article as long as you are commenting on it (fair use). Please leave out any music that isn't your own or where you don't have permission. Youtube is notorious for attacking even less than 30second music clips that are legal. If you want certain clips of news or youtube clips note in the upload page what you want where it is and what part of the clip to put into the video. Quality wise its better this way. I know Alex Jones has gotten attacked for legal uses of news clips by youtube so I'm hesitant to even use them unless they are vital.
I'd like to get the first video out in 2 weeks then 1 per week there after. If you are interested in this mission comment below even if you don't particularly want to speak or be on video we need talents and help in tech areas as well.
A note about topic and content, I'm not a censor but I want this news brief to be credible please don't send in reptile, planet x, the totally unproven subjects. Remember you can always post those on your own here and on youtube. This news brief is something I want people to be able to email to sleeping friends and relatives not just an inter-movement video the we argue about and go no where with.

Tara i have some clips of ron paul though i didnt get to ask him questions. I can have them up by morning if youd like. Also i'm considering Going to the Lpac in september to meet ron paul, nipolitano and others.

@Tara, VERY COOL!! and now you don't have an excuse for not doing a news brief HAHA up there dancing around and singing! I think after the first few you will be use to it.
@Vince, would love to have you involved, just no Ron Paul bashing If you have another candidate you want to talk about and support go ahead and talk about them vs RP we'll include it and likely rebuke it with another clip lol. You gotta understand 95% of 12160 supports RP.
@Charlie YEA DUDE welcome we mos def need you! having a graphic designer would take this project to the next level.
When Tara gets done with the Jingle I'll be messaging all of you and we will work out how to get this rolling. In the mean time those who want to be in the news brief start working out what your clip is going to be about. The News brief will start out at 15min long so depending on how many want to be in it shoot for maybe 3-4min clips of your news brief. Remember we can insert pictures and other things into the clip with the editors like when you mention a news story. also no copyright music in background it will get the audio deleted by YT.

I agree Greg and thanks Vince! I bet you'd do a great job at it. I remember listening in to a discussion you had with Harry Thomas way back in the Fearless Broadcasting days. You were very articulate, knowledgeable and very easy to listen to.
@Laser, here's a recording from my bands last gig. Disregard the date on the beginning and end of the the vid. Our sound guy did the recording and added it to youtube. I don't know what he was smoking but it must have been good, lol. It was May 28, 2011.

Thanks Charlie! The more help the merrier I say:) Now, if we could just get a few members to each do a news brief we'd be that much furthur ahead. I still need to do my jing-a-ling in the studio too..... me bad:( Everytime I've been in the studio lately I've gotten tied up with my bands recording or our sound engineer as been too busy so I'm unable to get it done. Sorry Laser! If nothing else once I have CD in hand, the song "12160" can be used for any one of these news briefs. It should be done in a week or two, WOOT!

Hi Guys , I am a Graphic designer ...and understand very good the art of image manipulation and digital art creation...I also Know how to edit videos... I can help by making advertising Videos to promote the page and I will be really glad to do so as well, I have found 12160 to be very educational and inspiring ...and really admire and love what you guys are doing here !
