The police initiated an investigation through which they could identify a young man, 25 years of age and Moroccan nationality, as the alleged perpetrator of the events. Therefore, the Arona court issued a search and detention order.

The young man has been located and arrested in the market square of Valencia. The alleged aggressor has been placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, together with the corresponding police report."
