If Burmese Pyhtons are Such a Nuissance Let's Eat'em!

A Burmese Python female can grow up to 17 feet long and produce more than 50 eggs which will translate into more snakes. Florida is the perfect breeding ground for them as they have no natural enemies. Because of the head start the species has on the lame authorities the only alternative is to breed the bastards and fucking eat them! They are the perfect invasive species! So why not gear up a food industry source with them! Hey, have you ever had alligator? It's damn good breaded and fried! Why would we overlook another incredible food resource that does not need a lot of special resources to grow, proliferate, and can be caught and processed without herbicides, pesticides, steroids, or additives? I have Chinese restaurant owners as friends who would go out to East Texas every year and catch rattle snakes for the festival and record sizes and weights! Guess what, tasted just like chicken! Why not use these invasive species as a food source? Screw'em! This is a very useful way we can exploit food sources!

James Roberts Used to have a Cajun restaurant close and their alligator was excellent but fried was the only way I had it. Don't think it would taste worth a damn any other way.

Diana,  if you bread and fry alligator it's great. And they can only use the tail to eat. I havent had rattle snake, but I know people have eaten it and they do compare it to chicken but don;t know how they're preparing it. Look at the amount of meat that comes out of a python! That could feed a lot of people!

Had some alligator once at a Cajun restaurant in Centerville, Ohio. Not bad, for what I've heard about meat eaters. I've heard if not cooked and seasoned just so, they taste like crap.

I agree, there's way too many snakes in Florida already.  Wonder how many people a 17 foot python would feed and how it tastes.  Alligator tastes a bit swampy to me, but rattlesnake does taste like chicken.  Here's an 18 footer, 30' around.  She was a "pet", but holy crap look how big.  https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/orl-bk-python-se...
