Japan NIKKEI Crashes 12.7 Percent Today then Blackout on all News
So today Mon 1/2/2017 I watched the NIKKEI markets out of Japan crash 12.7 percent! I saw the numbers on marketwatch.com as the first trading day of the year in Japan brought a HUGE market crash but no news on this so I went to bed and got up a couple hours after to check the news on it and stunned...only the market numbers from last Friday are being reported and there is a complete blackout on ALL market data coming out of Japan from what has happened today.
Did they decide to erase all trades that happened? Usually they shut the market down way before they get to -12%. Now as I write this it looks like they declared a bank holiday for today and tomorrow Tue 1/3/2017 for New Years but those numbers were there this morning and the markets were open. Maybe if anyone else saw what I saw this will be the only report on the web...unbelievable.
I remember hearing how similar tactics were used before on Japan market crashes but it feels different watching it happen for myself.
