When "every" aspect of life is left up to some one else or some higher power, the individual will never be held personally responsible for anything which they do. It doesn't matter if it was the "Will of GOD" or "in the name of Allah", so long as people are not held to some standard of civilized personal accountability, these things will continue to happen.
