Wayfair, an  online marketer of varied items, had many unusual listings of armoires, cabinets, throw pillows, etc, priced at $10k each, and above.

When one searched for the SKU numbers (stock keeping unit—is a unique numeric or alphanumeric code assigned to products in order to make it easier and more efficient for a business to manage inventory) on Yandex, the Russian search engine, photos of missing children showed up. The items had brand names that matched those of the missing children. Many of whom had rare names, like "Duplessis", "Anabel" or "Samiyah". The odds against this happening by chance must not only be astronomical, but impossible.

In addition, Wayfair pulled all the relevant listings from their site so the items could be "re-named". However, Wayfair is like Ebay, items listed are sold by individual companies. This makes no sense at all. Kudos to the Redditors, when I first heard about this, I thought POL on 4chan must have discovered it.

I have read that George Soros owns the majority of shares in Wayfair.
