 Efficient performance requires sufficient rest and nutrition. And a sense of freedom. And an aversion to negative reinforcement. Tazing of other young children and handcuffs are retarded for young children. Fire the teacher, the principal, and the cop. This day should become a national holiday for introspection. Call it 'Lame Day'.

Sharon its true. As for our little darling I'll bet their not telling us everything. As per suzanne stapler's comment that may be the real truth. I have read that when certain vitamins are lacking in childrens foods they will act retarded because their not getting vitamins through all the junk foods they are consuming.

Sharon you are so right, children are no longer allowed to be just kids, now they have to sexually aware in grade school, taught to fear ALL adults as possible molesters, and turned into little snitches by social workers telling them that getting hit by your parents is a crime, if that is true, we grew up in a crime infested country I can tell you!!LOL!

Normal childhood mistakes are now considered a crime.   Children are allowed no mistakes.  My heart cry's for all the children who have never and will never know any sense of freedom.

This is news? It is in my opinion a created problem ..  back in the day if a kid acted like that we didn't sit around and try to figure out if they had ADHD or coddle and coo them .. your mother was called and you were removed from school! When you got home...  You probably got a beating of some kind and sent to bed without supper ... It was a cold cruel world but ya know what? People behaved better and kids ate what they were given by there parents or went hungry.. A cop handcuffing a 6yr old kid? absurd indeed.. shouldn't have happened and wouldn't have happened when the world made so kind of sense..

She could very well have nutritional and digestion issues like ADHD (which is not a brain disorder even though the medical doctors and Big Pharma only want to give them drugs for it).  Simply getting rid of dairy and gluten from her diet as well as the fake fats, GMOs and refined and pkgd, processed foods could be enough to calm her down.
