This is why the oligarchs have demonized cannabis. A big part of what they're doing, through Hollywood, through false science, false medicine and laws and regulations based on false science, is to desensitize and dehumanize us. I've noticed the number and extreme nature of killings, atrocities and gore in films and television have exploded in the past 20 years. As have the glamorization and promotion of casual sex, infidelity, violent crime, divorce, materialism, abortion, war, selfishness ("You deserve MORE" endlessly repeated in advertising) and anything else that breaks us away from what is, objectively,  just and right.

Being flooded with these images and ideas damages the cerebellum (through the release of excess cortisol, a stress hormone). the center of socialization and the ability to give and receive affection. The dumbing down tactics in compulsory education do the same, as there is an inverse relationship between IQ and violent tendencies. Think of women's magazines and ads for makeup, clothing and other women's products, where any physical sign of motherhood is seen as a severe detriment, a deformity to be ashamed of. That fulfillment can not be had for a woman, except by chasing the almighty dollar until one is 40, then maybe one can procreate. Acetaminophen damages the ability to be compassionate, and is targeted towards children. 50+ vaccines, given in bundles, no doubt damage the cerebellum as well. It is the most easily-damaged brain part during development, and after.

People who see themselves and others as nothing but soulless chemicals, machines, make the perfect slaves. Cannabis interferes with this end result. I'll bet the authorities have known about these properties for decades, and that's why marijuana has remained outlawed. I'd also bet money that's why strains with extremely high concentrations of THC, and synthetics have been promoted. Cathy O' Brien, the purported victim of CIA brainwashing in a government sex slave for VIPs program, stated that they were allowed any drug, except cannabis. I was dubious of her story, but in light of this info, perhaps it makes sense.
