Zero Americans Died from Terrorism Inside America in 2010

Michael S. Rozeff, writing for Lew Rockwell’s LRC Blog, cites a couple interesting statistics that demonstrate just how bogus the war on terror is.

He writes: “How many private Americans died in 2010 due to terrorist incidents” and then responds as follows:

Fifteen (15) according to the U.S. government’s 2010 Report on Terrorism, the most comprehensive of its kind. Of these, thirteen (13) were in Afghanistan, one (1) in Iraq, and one (1) in Uganda.

These data suggest that the War on Terror for the sake of American security is entirely fraudulent. They suggest that the unbelievably high U.S. military expenditures that are often loosely linked to terror concerns cannot be justified by any conceivable terror threats.

Further evidence in support of these inferences are data from the same report on the total deaths by country worldwide associated with terror incidents in 2010. The largest number is 3,364 in Iraq. The second largest is 3,202 in Afghanistan. The U.S. attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan have without question caused terrorist attacks to soar in those two countries. Before the U.S. made war on Saddam Hussein and on the Taliban, who ever heard of terrorism being a problem in those lands? And who in his right mind regarded whatever terrorism existed there as a significant threat to America or American lives?

Of course, we know that the trillions of dollars spent over the years – not only on the fraudulent war on terror, but also the war on the manufactured Soviet threat, the threat of commie Asians (both Korean and Vietnamese) – was spent to enrich the military industrial complex and the bankers who always profit from war, mass murder and misery.

Most terrorism is inflicted on people by government and its preferred business associates, or rather partners in crime. Far more people have died in IRS, BATF, DEA, FBI, et al raids than have fallen victim to al-Qaeda terrorism and that of other contrived bogeymen.

Now I know some people will say terrorists killed 3,000 on September 11, 2001. The question is, however, what brand of terrorist pulled off the attack? It was never demonstrably proven that it was Osama bin Laden and his fellows hiding in a cave half way around the world. It is, to say the least, absurd to claim bin Laden was able to make NATO stand down and that a dim-witted terrorist that was unable to pass a rudimentary flight exam performed the sort of aerial acrobatics it was said American Airlines Flight 77 accomplished before it slammed into the Pentagon.
