I have often contemplated this, Tactical Edge. Over his career, Hicks really started rattling the cages of the elite and when he started really promoting the use of mushrooms for enlightenment that seemed to be his coda. I don't know if his pancreatic cancer was injected into him or if it was due to his earlier lifestyle but either way, when he left us, we lost a brilliant voice who brought hours of thought provoking laughter.

Makes you wonder just how he got his cancer. He quit smoking, drinking, and doing any drugs at all.

I personally think that his success in Europe speaking the truth about the US was the main contributing factor of his sickness. Cancer is a virus and infecting someone with it is quite simple.

I have always found it curious that those who speak out are always silenced one way or another.

Watch the documentary. It is really good but I wish there was more footage of his shows in it.

I hear ya Tommy, he is one of my favorite all time comedians too. He was like the AJ of the comedic world back in the days..... very cutting edge, especially for the time. RIP Bill

Bill Hicks is one of my favorite all time comedians...I remember seeing him live in Houston back in the 80's....
