Kill the Messenger Official Trailer #1 (2014) - Jeremy Renner Crime Movie HD

The film is based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb. The film takes place in the mid 1990s, when Webb uncovered the CIA's past role in importing huge amounts of cocaine into the U.S. that was then sold across the country to raise money for the Nicaraguan Contras rebel army. Despite enormous pressure not to, Webb chose to pursue the story and went public with his evidence, publishing the series "Dark Alliance". As a result he experienced a vicious smear campaign fueled by the CIA. At that point Webb found himself defending his integrity, his family, and his life.

The case was white washed and reported in USDOJ/OIG Special Report

THE CIA-CONTRA-CRACK COCAINE CONTROVERSY:
A REVIEW OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT’S
INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS
(December, 1997)

Lies that have once been washed away, keep popping up like poop in a pond. The end of the criminal cabal is coming closer day by day.

When looking at the trailer and the actual film I get a feeling it's not the same movie. I still have to see the whole film later when I have time, but so far the first half an hour has nothing to say about Gary Webb. The film is showing various reporters in danger doing remarkable and courageous work to bring the truth to the public, with the usual Hollywood spin of of the Muslims and Russia etc.. What about the CIA, Al CIA da, Mossad - ISIS, I doubt there will be much about that at all. The story of Gary Webb itself is worth of another full movie. Dozens if not hundreds of books have been written about the "intelligence" disservices involvement in "illegal" drug business. How can it be illegal if the government is involved? With illegal government, yes it can be.

Collapse, directed by Chris Smith, is an American documentary film exploring the theories, writings and life story of controversial author Michael Ruppert.

This is a documentary series that was never aired where an investigative journalist uncovers truth to the rumors about Iran-Contra during the Reagan years, CIA drug trafficking, CIA drug operations in Mena, Arkansas during the Clinton governorship and presidency. It also implies that former president George H.W. Bush, who was vice president during the Reagan years, and was also former head of the CIA was also involved. This documentary to my knowledge was recorded from a hacked satellite tuned to an "edit" channel which was feeding coast to coast "preview programming" to network executives in NYC. Apparently the decision was made against running this program due to its content and the "heat" that it would generate. The CIA poses as FBI more often than not, so perhaps the "FBI" stated this would interfere with their investigation.

Political prisoner Beau Abbott, a former narco-pilot for the CIA, tells of his experience in the drug import business. He's now hidden away in a federal prison for his whistle blowing activities.

How Crack Funded a CIA War: Gary Webb.

Facing increasing public scrutiny from the fallout after Webb's "Dark Alliance" series, the CIA conducted its own internal investigations, which was a white wash. Did you expect anything else?

Would you let a bank robber lead an investigation of the robbery? Yes, when it's bankers stealing tax payers money, you would.
