Peter, where you are wrong is that this is NOT socialism....it is fascism.  The govt. doesn't own the corporations...they get in bed with them -> crony capitalism.  If the corporation makes a profit...they keep it....if they fail -> they place the debt on the middle/poor class.  Socialism doesn't allow the 'profit' to begin with.  Please get your terms correct, otherwise you have weakened your argument(s).

So, according to Obama, we'd have more jobs if we all lived in mud huts and used cow dung to light up for warmth.  This guy is totally stupid!  What causes depression/bubble cycles is the Federal Reserve....we would be much better off without private central banks that create fiat money (debt-based money instead of value-based money).

The problem is that we've made it more advantageous (tax-wise and due to labor unions) to go overseas.  More government and more labor unions drive corporations to hire workers overseas. The market WILL take care of everything if the govt. and the overpriced labor costs of unions.  You are right....Steven Jobs is a good example.  Trickle down is proven right again and again it's the govt.  interruption (via over-regulation and taxes) that creates the problems.

the irony  is progress IS  poison (see raymond  williams  key words)  it is always bound up  with war   fro the blast  furnace of Henry   VIII --it is tied in   was  money and  exploitation!!  of  course  this guy  is not using the word properly  yea Obama  wants  to restore slavery who is  this idiot of course  technology  destroy  jobs!! yeh I  was thinking of phone operations  atm  machines  encourage mindless consumerism it also destroys  education  (I am talking about  mindless progress) and your  cell phone  that's  REAL PROGRESS  7 million  Congolese  dead!!! who is this moron!!
