Many of the Canadian indigenous tribes refer to Sasquatch or Bigfoot as Sabe pronounced (Sawbay). These ancient North American indigenous tribes have been well aware of the entity that walks upright much like a man but seems to possess super powers such as strength, speed, and even infrasound like big cats that can disorient people. They regard humans as a threat and treat them with territoriality! Anyone entering the vast Pacific Northwest, our National Forests, State Parks, or game preserves should be well equipped and never go it alone. Those who do end up on the missing persons reports, in most likelihood, never to be seen agai
Our first encounter begins with a Seal Team deployed from Fort Lewis on Whidbey Island in Washington State. The elite team is dropped off in the wilderness by slip lines from helicopters and given a certain amount of time to arrive at their objectives. After being offloaded by helicopter in the wee hours of the morning, they encounter huge expanses of timber debris and fallen trees making their progress through the wilderness slow and tedious, but something the SEAL Team notices is that they are being paralleled by what they describe as huge human beings, you mean like Leif Ericson and his Viking explorers encountered near the coast of Nova Scotia centuries before Columbus landed on an island in the Bahamas? Yes!
The Seal Team described them as more fit for traversing the dense forest than humans, unfettered by heavy brush or over growth. As the Seal Team elite trained troops made their way to their assigned arrivals, they knew they were outmatched, reported this to their superiors, and were glad to have made it unmolested to their destinations. Army Rangers who have faced Sabe have also made the same observations that humans during night operations are no match for the man beasts who not only observe them, but exhibit masterful movement skills.
Steve Isdahl is a no nonsense hunting and fishing guide who has a couple of YouTube sites. One pertains to hunting and fishing while another broadcasts Sasquatch encounters and he reads letters of others experiences from his cell phone who write into his site. Steve is out of British Columbia and has had experiences with Sabe himself. He has continually warned against shooting a Sasquatch as it could set off a horrific retaliation against campers, hikers, and fishermen! Steve tells of a story where 5 hunters encounter a Sabe and engage in a battle with! These five hunters frightened by a very hostile creature begin shooting. By all accounts, even dating back to tales told by early pioneers using their rifles against the “Wild Hairy Men” gunshots to the chest, upper torso, have no effect due to a boney plate that deflects bullets and only does minor damage. An early account by Jim Bowie rescuing his son from such a beast claims that he used his knife after killing one to skin the chest flesh and uncover the boney plate that covered the vital organs!
The five hunters were decimated by the Bigfoot who manhandled all of them and inflicted horrid injuries. The mangled bodies were later discovered by Park Rangers who were under strict orders not to reveal the incident to the public at large! Typical Sasquatch injuries are collapsed ribs, arms ripped from the torso, skulls crushed with incredible force. Furthermore, there can be the destruction of weapons, gear such as backpacks shredded, even smashed cell phones and personal beacon locators! Park Rangers fed up with the secrecy they were ordered to maintain approached David Paulides and provided information anonymously for his 411 Missing Persons book series.
The next location is Ft. Sills, Oklahoma where a large military base resides. It’s here that a daytime maneuver of troops is underway. A regiment of foot soldiers under the command of a lieutenant and his squad leader are on the outskirts a vast flat meadow where visibility is excellent from vast distances but in wartime being here out in the open could be suicidal. The men are assigned tactical orientation. When the Lieutenant lifts his glasses seeing what at first appears to be a black, dead tree stump, turns out to be a towering figure several feet above the tall yellow grasses dead from the approaching winter.
The lieutenant notes that though he is observing the unknown being from several hundred yards, it is looking directly at him! He then hands the field glasses to his squad leader as he calls into his superiors for instructions. The lieutenant is ordered not to engage and to withdraw. The lieutenant orders his squad leader to instruct his men to disperse in an orderly manner. Troubled by his orders, the squad leader approaches the base colonel about the incident that evening, and is tongue lashed and threatened with dishonorable discharge if he ever mentions the subject again!
Third and last incident
A US Army PFC is on patrol late at night. Maintaining a perimeter watch. “Halt, who goes there!” Is a typical command, if he sees anyone of unknown intent or purpose. He is on guard duty in the middle of the night at Ft. Lewis in Washington State. Interestingly enough, Ft. Lewis is the site of a the 1948 fatal plane crash of a B-25 Billy Mitchell Bomber supposedly carrying a UFO substance observed to have fallen from an unknown aerial object at Maury Island! According to David Paulides, UAP’s and Sasquatch seem to occur in the same cluster zones at even at the same time!
So, the soldier is making his way down a line of barb wire fence about 8 feet in height when he notices a figure on the other side of the fence several yards away. About as tall as a basketball player around 7 ft. tall and hair covered, the Army trooper is stunned. The Sasquatch is standing close to wear an outdoor lamp is illuminating the area so his sighting in unmistakable! He carefully approaches but the creature makes no sudden movements. He finally comes close enough to stand parallel to the entity on the opposite side of the fence. Under typical orders he is not supposed to have a loaded M-16 and is instructed to keep the magazine in his uniform. As he said, as big as the beast was, he’d only make it mad if he shot it anyway.
The soldier studies the Sasquatch he sees that it’s a female. He can tell as the body is lightly haired and he can see a light skinned flesh beneath the hair where can see nipples and breasts. He claims that body is incredibly human-like only bigger. The female creature regards him without menace of threat. For several minutes they exchange glances! She appears very aware and intelligent. He has to suppress an urge to reach toward her and touch her to convince himself that what he’s looking at is real. It seems she is making some kind of attempt to communicate, but not only is he confused but concerned that this could be filmed by some surveillance camera that would get him in trouble! Finally, he lowers his M-16 not aiming but simply pointing at her. She slips back into the brush and disappears! There had been rumors on the base about these types of encounters!
His duty was to log in a report all events during the course of his duty and relates the story for his log entry. The next day his order under extreme duress to alter his report and re-submit it! Apparently, upper command hand no interest in such incidents or was it just that they knew something neither the US Army sentry didn’t know and neither do we?
