Hello guys and gals, for reason to numerous to name atm, I must end my connection with this site.

If you folks want the site to continue we will need some one to take over, this includes paying the bills with a paypal account . Current cost around 500 a year, with expected cost to nearly double the following year.

To make sure you whom ever takes over is serious about this I would require to see the first year paid for in advance.

Seems a tad of a commitment eh? Well it is, and now it falls on one of you 5000 plus members to either take this on solely or as a group.

I will make last payment in May, after that only fate will tell.

I guess despite what I see as horrible over priced hosting service, the question I submit is it worth it to everyone here to keep going on and how will this be done?

I will help anyway I can just let me know James. I will give to the cause money or time! I don't know much about running a site but I will give all I can. What ever needs to be done just let me know, please.

As for the burn out I can only imagine, and I empathize. But surely there must be an alternative to closing the site.

If only 500 or 600 hundred people gave a dollar a piece wouldn't that be enough?

How do we go about putting a donation button on the site and run a fund raiser? I will set it up if you will give me the go ahead. I used to be a PTA president and was involved in raising funds all the time.

This site contains a lot of very valuable information and this can not be lost to the ether. Not to mention the family atmosphere that survives here.

Please let me know.

Seems from comments above folks want the site to chug on, and there are even offers to take over now . I for one am more optimistic ....thank you !

You dont have to be here, and second you wont have to worry about me if you choose to stay. You were not the only one moderated, and other links were removed. I even made sure it was publicly known that I was moderating as to show total openness .
