Report: Chuck Schumer Almost Ate a Tide Pod
TruthRevolt reported earlier today on legislation proposed by New York Democrats who want Proctor & Gamble to bear the burden of the latest millennial fad, eating Tide soap pods, by redesigning and repackaging the pods to make them less appealing to morons. Want to know how this whole thing got started? It just might be because New York Senator Chuck Schumer almost ate a Tide Pod once, thinking it was candy.
Emily Zanotti of the Daily Wire reports that he started his crusade against the popular laundry detergent packets in 2012 when he saw one on his aide's desk. It was a close call, friends. Or, as he said:
"I saw one on my staffer's desk and I wanted to eat it.”
