Those blue helmets make nice target profiles. Just get some tungsten carbide rod, cut it into pieces about 5/16 inch long, sharpen one end on a bench grinder, glue it inside a hollow point bullet's cavity, and voila! DIY cop killer bullets. Sharp objects, even an ice pick, will penetrate Kevlar body armor, by the way. Propane gas cylinders and cans of staring fluid for automobiles (the latter has diethyl ether, burns with more BTUs than dynamite) can be the makings of effective IEDs to use against invading forces, whether or not they are aided by the US govt.

Most meth labs are discovered because of the huge and fiery explosions caused by diethyl ether.
And, the use of gas cylinders as projectiles is of interest to me. Put one in steel pipe, figure out a way to knock off the neck quickly and you have a rocket that would penetrate the windshield of an armored military Humvee, and turn any occupants into ravioli. I recommend using oxygen, nitrogen or another non-inflammable gas. The inflammable gasses, including acetylene, would be of use in improvised explosives, and would be a great equalizer for US militias encountering UN troops.

On the Kevlar thing, I am interested in the idea of using a gas-fired nail gun. Disable the safety that requires it be pressed against a surface to fire, replace the gas cylinder with one that is much larger, and the battery with a larger one, and voila! A small arm that is ideal for Stalingrad-type building-to-building type combat that would be seen in a UN-assisted military dictatorship in the US. And it can potentially fire a thousand rounds without changing the gas cylinder or battery. The nails should penetrate Kevlar body armor. You probably don't have to use the exotic and expensive gas that is supplied for the nail gun.
