Many people who are watching the insanity of the police state destroy the US Constitutional Republic have asked just when and where did this debacle happen? And for that matter, why? Let me answer one part of this question right away. Human nature is inherently evil. We are corrupted by the evil being directed from an entity that some say does not exist, but if one looks at the circumstantial evidence with wars, government induced crises, and the general untrustworthiness of spouses, politicians, and power brokers all over the planet, to say the Devil does not exist would have to be demented. The fantasy that the Devil does not exist would have been one of his greatest illusions!

The early stages

Now, let us address the question of when and where did our overbearing security state emerge? Some think it began in 1913 with the Rewenue Act which legalized the resurrection of the central European bank that had been abolished by President Jackson some 75 years before as the US dollar and banking system was now under the control of a handful of banking cabal families who had controlled Europe and England for more than a century. Thus, with complete economic control, credit policy, and money supply now under a foreign corporation the deed was done. Others would say that the "Emergency Powers" act of 1933 after the Stock Market crash of 1929 giving the federal government the legal authority to declare bankruptcy, transform monetary policy, and marshall all resources within the nation was the final blow to our supposed Constitutional Republic, and either of the above mentioned developments could suffice as worthy elements of sanctioned strangulation of a free society, but in 1947 the true hatchet job on our right to privacy began.

Post war jitters?

Could it have been that in the wake of the most horrific war mankind had even known and with world governments reeling from the effects of World War II that a need for a new better coordinated operating system within the US government was needed. Perhaps, a better form of intelligence access for the military and security agencies was needed, especially with the development of the Atomic Weapons arsenal and resulting arms race that would inevitably begin? The US government already had the FBI, State Department, the War Department, the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) and the Department of Defense. Why would there need to be a further establishment for espionage and domestic surveillance? One might remember how the Nazi 5th Collumn had infiltrated the peace time US society. One might also recall that the Russians had also gained intelligence access into the secret Atomic arsennal at Los Alamos. it was clear there had been problems.

Enter the unknown

However, it seems in 1947 an entire blow up of all conventional approaches to intelligence, civilian monitoring, and the application of military use of this information had occurred. The National Security Act of 1947 was a law enacting major restructuring of the United States government's military and intelligence agencies following World War II. ... It also created the Department of the Air Force and the United States Air Force, which separated the Army Air Forces into its own service. Was that development the alleged crash of an alien disk at Roswell the event that unleashed the prelude to the loss of our privacy? Certainly, if the crash and recovery of a craft from a civilization not of this earth would present a myriad of problems that could overwhelm an unprepared government forced to deal with a number of unforeseen implications! Could these new demands made upon the intelligence branches of the US federal government have been sufficient to actually overhaul the entire way our political system would operate from here to eternity? Apparently so!

The mysterious event

One must ascertain that either the Roswell Incident was an actual crash or shoot down of an extraterrestrial vehicle or this was a staged event that would justify the sudden rise of a draconian and ruthless intelligence apparatus that would grow like a malignancy and override all constitutional constraints to control its scope of influence! Why would such a development have been necessary? If it was the combination of all influences above mentioned war, economics, government control of all resources, and the sudden appearance of a race apparently from somewhere else in the universe, perhaps this could explain how it all started.

Terrifying possibility

Say for instance a crashed saucer replete with recovered alien bodies with one still alive that was kept alive in captivity for sometime, would this by itself not have presented a traumatic change in the awareness of the general public challenging all notions of religion, of man's place in the scheme of things, of government's ability to control the minds of its citizens? In 1947 the state of mind of post war Americans, fears of an Atomic exchange, the awareness of technology in that era, to admit to the public that a superior race that posessed superior technology had somehow made contact with the US military who was outclassed by an interplanetary race of beings would have been a catastrophic development!

Prelude to an invasion?

Just looking at the panic that resulted from the Mercury Theater radio play of "War of the Worlds" Halloween of 1938 as Orson Wells hosted the event, would have persuaded any US official that potential chaos and the questioning of human authority would have been a very valid concern. Archaeologists had already determined from the past studies of ancient and not so ancient civilizations that once a less advanced society was eclipsed by a technically superior culture the outcome was not good for the primitives. Their civilization generally fell apart and collapsed once their belief systems had been proven invalid. Look at what happened to the Mayans when confronted by the Spanish Conquistadors! Native American tribes folded in their encounters with European pioneers as they settled North America, the "New World". The US federal government and military would have had justified concerns that their power to maintain control over the masses might be compromised.

Unintended consequences

Let's go further in Philip J. Corso's book, "The Day After Roswell" the incredible technological leap that resulted from back engineering of the artifacts or instrumentality that were recovered from the wreckage would have been a gold mine of advancement, but also a Pandora's Box of ramifications as well. Solid state circuitry, miniaturized electronics, optical fibers, direct pilot to ship control, advanced propulsion, and strange light weight impact resistant metals that would all revolutionize industry as well as the deadly considerations of weaponry. Not wanting this technology to fall into the wrong hands such as hostile foreign nations would make drastic surveillance measures high levels of secrecy seem necessary!

They risked their lives

The later revelations of Bob Lazar's testimony as being a former Naval astrophysics consultant who was involved in back engineering alien technology at S-4 in Area 51 seemed to have solidified the notion that mankind had been forced to deal with an eventuality that it never could have imagined. While also corroborating what happened in the high desert of New Mexico approximately 08/July/1947. As electronics were made smaller, more powerful, produced less heat, and could be utilized as more precise monitoring devices as the internet was also being introduced and most definitely nailed the coffin shut on our privacy rights! As Phil Schneider, a former geological expert on underground tunneling for secret US operations testified-the US military is more than 45 years ahead in technological advancements before any of this is conveyed into the retail civilian markets. Unfortunately for Phil Schneider, his revelations cost him his life. Lazar also acknowledged that he had been threatened with his life too.

Was it really possible?

Is it possible to keep such earth shaking discoveries from being leaked to the general public? Philip J. Corso former US Army Captain of intelligence and scientific advisor to the Eisenhower White House revealed that a secret telegraph and national telephone surveillance program had existed for years before it was minimally disclosed to the America public having gone undetected for more than a decade with many civilian and military personnel involved in the program, so was it possbile the crash at Roswell had been effectively compartmentalized from public disclosure? It would seem so. Think of the irony. That harvested alien technology was used to not only advance the human race but to enslave it with ultra sophisticated surveillance devices.
