Protect yourself
Your all smart people, you have many free tools to limit your exposure on the wild wild web, I would suggest using Firefox then go to the tools menu and then Add-ons and download a multitude of free extensions that limit the information that IE would automatically give out.
Extensions to look for: NoScript, AddBlockPluss, BetterPrivacy, Ghostery, read and understand what a proxy is and then use an extension like FoxyProxy, when searching dont automatically use Google or bing use http://startpage.com/
