Benton: ‘Dr. Paul will not seek to be nominated from the floor.’

[ Tampa Bay Online: ] - Ron Paul has announced he'll seek a positive, non-confrontational stance from his campaign during the convention, and even will snub some gatherings planned by supporters because his campaign isn't controlling them.

Paul campaign chairman Jesse Benton wouldn't discuss negotiations between the two camps or the timing of [Rand] Paul's speech, but said, "We have been told that it will be a very prominent time." Benton said by email that Ron Paul is not expected to speak, but that Romney representatives "are working with us (on) other ways to recognize and honor Ron at the convention.

"Dr. Paul will not seek to be nominated from the floor," he added.

Comment by Freedomrox on August 13, 2012 at 8:46pm: Truly, back when we had a chat room, I many times was very vocal that RP was nothing more than a plant, as did some others TG, for one, and was set forth to offer hope then have it pulled out from under them in an attempt at disenfranchisement. It seems to have worked perfectly.

Also, just as the "Tea Party", it was also an identification program to be able to gather all the enemies of the US into groups and be marked for later actions.

Sometimes you have to think like an Agent, to understand an Agent's motivations in order to be able to spot their operations. If any had truly looked into RP's affiliations, then it would have been apparent that RP was a 'false flag" operation. I truly loved what RP had to say, but his actions never actually matched his words. The shout out that all the 'patriots" had been fooled was done, ironically by Rand Paul, whose true colors outed him and his father's true agenda.....

I will not say "I told you so". I suffered much slander and many arguments for my stance, but it has been bourne out in the end.

At minimum, he appears to be seeking a better position in the Party machine, rather than look after the good Dr. He may be 100pct compromised or a plant for years. Sell out Mo fo!

And isn't it so nice that Romney representatives will recognize and honor Ron at the convention? What a load of BS! And what the hell happened to the fighting spirit of Ron Paul? What's going on? The days of playing nice are long but over. This is really disappointing to me but should I have expected anything different? Vote No Confidence in 2012!!!
