Anyone reject the ET hypothesis (ETH) and lean towards/ accept the possibility of ultraterrestrials/ cryptoterrestrials and/or interdimensional entities?

Oh..Chariots of the Gods....been a looooong time.

Ok..I'm back, what did I miss?

WOW..a lot....hmmmm

What intrigues me is the same as what Nikki said about the efforts to suppress evidence and the ancient structures. The images found in caves, atop mesas, and other unexplained phenomena. And I find the idea of genetic crossing of native species with ones from elsewhere not totally without merit.

I grew up a Trekkie kid and had pipe dreams of becoming an astronaut so it follows that UFO and the cover-ups would become an area of interest at such a young age. Not to mention living in close proximity to one of the more famous "mysterious" events ever in SE Texas which occurred near Huffman in 1980. I have not studied this area as much as I have more conventional conspiracies but I have spent "some" time on it and I am still on the fence about much of it. Like Krypke, I find it more entertaining than anything else but I also would like to know the truth about this just as much as I would 9/11.

My dear, that is an understatement

@Krypke, what is most intriguing is that governments, mainstream scientists, religion, and the media try so hard to suppress the evidence.  Many good scientists and engineers admit that they can't explain how some ancient structures and artifacts were built. The best they can do is come up with some hokey theories that are full of holes.  I've discussed this for years with friends in the scientific community. I read parts of Chariots of the Gods years ago but it's time for me to read it again.  The universe if full of life and many advanced beings have come and gone.  If  the mainstream media ever announced that aliens had visited Earth, it would change everything.  It would be like admitting that 9/11 was an inside job only much bigger.

What do you all find most intriguing about the ancient alien theory? Have any of you ever read Chariots of The Gods? That is the book that revolutionized the idea of ancient aliens being civilizations' encounters with Gods. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down like it was stuck to my hand. Highly recommend that book so you can see where the theory originated. Some of the book has been debunked since, but it raised so many amazing questions and taught an entirely new perspective on the origins of religion, God, and human civilization.

@Tara, absolutely. Sometimes I think Tara should just be my spokesperson. You echo my thoughts woman :)

@Lisa, glad you have an interest. I find this topic very exciting and fun to think about.
