THE GOOD SHEPHERD
Once upon a time a good shepherd named Sam lived in a lush green valley. He tended a small flock of sheep and protected them and cared for them and took their wool for himself. And his herd would grow, for all the sheep nearby heard that his charges need not fear the butcher...as I was saying, Sam was a kindly shepherd.

This happened in 2004, when a huge swath of Eastern Europe joined the European Union. Even as Bonn and Rome sparked the Balkan wars, we said this would yield the EU’s first colonies; the integration of the Balkans into the EU is now well advanced. We have continued to declare that this empire will be dominated by the religion of Rome, resulting in Islamist Turkey being locked out of EU membership.

War is brutal and impersonal. It mocks the fantasy of individual heroism and the absurdity of utopian goals like democracy. In an instant, industrial warfare can kill dozens, even hundreds of people, who never see their attackers. The power of these industrial weapons… Continue

LOS ANGELES - Joan Rivers is many things: Funny lady. Jewelry mogul. Red carpet mercenary. But a terrorist?
Can we talk?
Rivers, 76, was deemed a danger to national security and booted from a Newark-bound flight in Costa Rica on Sunday by a jittery Continental Airlines gate agent who found the two names on her passport fishy.
Her passport reads: Joan Rosenberg AKA Joan Rivers. Rosenberg was her late husband's last name.

Skull linked to secret Yale society to be sold
NEW YORK (AP) — A human skull that once apparently belonged to Yale's mysterious Skull and Bones society is now for sale.
Christie's auction house believes the skull was used as a ballot box around 1872. It has a hinge on top and is surrounded by crossbones.
Skull and Bones has closely guarded its members' names and its activities since the early 1970s. Publicly known members of the elite society include… Continue
On December 25 US authorities arrested a Nigerian named Abdulmutallab aboard a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit on charges of having tried to blow up the plane with smuggled explosives. Since then reports have been broadcast from CNN, the New York Times and other sources that he was “suspected” of having been trained in Yemen for his terror mission. What the world has been subjected to since is the emergence of a new target for the US ‘War on… Continue

Americans, not you and me, but American society in general is without a doubt the most dumbed down society on the planet. I'm ashamed to be a member right now because what this video exposes is the awful truth about us.
People in other countries are aware of the global forces moving against us and we are not. We're suckers. And as the video clearly says, "they're laughing at us."
My own (AO's) concern is that potential whistleblowers are being discuraged by rulings like this, and in my opinion, this is exactly the reason why they make them. They don't want us to report corruption.

Tyrannicide literally is the killing of a tyrant, and usually is taken to mean the killing of a tyrant by a private person for the common good. There are two classes of tyrants whose circumstances are widely apart — tyrants by usurpation and tyrants by oppression. A tyrant by usurpation (tyrannus in titula) is one who unjustly displaces or attempts to displace the legitimate supreme ruler, and he can be considered in the act of usurpation or in subsequent peaceful possession of the… Continue

This past week we celebrated the end of what most people agree was a decade best forgotten. New York Times columnist and leading Keynesian economist Paul Krugman called it the Big Zero in a recent column. He wrote that "there was a whole lot of nothing going on in measures of economic progress or success" which is true. However, Krugman continues to misleadingly blame the free market and supposed lack of regulation for the economic chaos.
