Information Commissioner Richard Thomas warns of surveillance culture
Laws that allow officials to monitor the behaviour of millions of Britons risk “hardwiring surveillance” into the British way of life, the country's privacy watchdog has warned.
Richard Thomas told The Times that “creeping surveillance” in the public and private sectors had gone “too far, too fast” and risked undermining… Continue

MUNICH - German dissident Horst Mahler has been sentenced to six years in prison for "Volksverhetzung" (racial incitement). The symbolically significant number of years imposed for "anti- Semitic hate speech" stemmed from his refusal to recognize the Jewish Holocaust®, which he described as "the biggest lie in world history."
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) adapts so well to the body's defense system that any successful AIDS vaccine must keep pace with the ever-changing immunological profile of the virus, according to researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and the University of Oxford in England.
A new study better describes HIV's ability to adapt by spelling out at least 14 different… Continue

I was just watching the news over here in Oz lastnight and was absolutely disgusted and gobsmacked by the news of all these CEO's of big company's and even a Judge who lied under oath who has been disgraced, yet he still gets a pension of $200,000 a year even though he may go to prison! The CEO's are getting even more, the Telstra CEO, an American (not that I have anything against Americans) who is leaving, is getting a $3000,000 hand shake when he leaves, yet Telstra share dividends won't be… Continue
Poisonous anthrax that killed five Americans in the weeks after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks doesn’t match bacteria from a flask linked to Bruce Ivins, the researcher who committed suicide after being implicated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a scientist said.
Spores used in the deadly mailings “share a chemical ‘fingerprint’ that is… Continue

February 25, 2009 "Black Agenda Report" - - The strength of the federal economic stimulus package is seriously diluted by the fact that many of the manufactured goods that will be purchased for the attempted recovery must be imported from outside the United States. America simply doesn't make lots of things, anymore. That means many billions… Continue

As of February 17th, when I released It’s Time for American Freedom Fighters to Unite, some twenty states had followed that lead, introducing measures of their own aimed at reclaiming state rights to defend against what was clearly becoming a runaway Democratic Socialist juggernaut in Washington DC, running roughshod over Republican members of congress and the millions of Americans… Continue
It seems that the police are ticketing people for anything and everything. In this article the man was struck by a vehicle and was hurt badly. He broke a small law that many have broken repeatedly, jaywalking. Adding insult to his injuries he was ticketed. I think he learned his lesson without needing the ticket. I wouldn't be surprised if he and the women he was escorting had been doing this for years. The driver of the vehicle was not paying attention to the road, especially at night with a… Continue

The American economy has gone away. It is not coming back until free trade myths are buried six feet under.
America’s 20th century economic success was based on two things. Free trade was not one of them. America’s economic success was based on protectionism, which… Continue
