Religion 2 Jan 27th pat donovan
OK, so my sex-politics-religion blog series is almost over. This does NOT mean I've covered everything I want to say.
To me, religion is personal, not the 'faith->religion->politics' dynamic I used in the last time. (Thou I still think politics worships communication, media and power.)
Like man = muscle hustle and brains, religion is all three, all at at same time.
Yes, I'm catholic. (Or was. Weddings and… Continue

religion (from communication comes media)
From Communication comes Media pat Donovan Jan 25th 2011
Welcome to the age of communication worship. (the web, ipods, Blackberrys, wireless flash mobs, TV, etc etc etc. Communication, marketing, development)
First there was faith, religion replaced faith, then politics replaced religion. (Like this. See below)
1: Tribal eternity tattoos: [FAITH: do EXACTLY what you did before.. Or the buffalo won't return. Maybe we should sacrifice something too.]

shape of things to come
Shape of things to come; Jan 21st 2011 Pat Donovan
THE WAY is open and you shall not be denied.
Communications. Hipsters, trendoids and fashionetas.
Hey, technoids aren't the people to be anymore. Everything is automated now. Politics, all it.
With communication getting even more intense these days... (twits on a global yes/no cycle) it behooves ya to look to the future occasionally. Before it smacks ya in the face, ferinstance.
Anyway,… Continue

march 2011 -media ducky
It's the Media.... DUCK! Pat Donovan Jan 12th 2011
Welcome to the zoo, people. Ducky media is the new quack on the block, if you missed that.
Welcome! This is the new CCC. Not a military command-control center, Corporate Convergence Censor.
The CCC whitewash, as I like to call it. Putting the meds into media.
Opportunistic cannibalism and corporate homicidal hypocrisy?
(This is probably why so many CEOs got changed last year, by the… Continue

off topic sex 2011 - re write
New year... new year's resolutions. 2011.
Posting from the Irish monk;
All of this is a variant of pragmatic philosophy/analysis.
(ie: man = muscle, hustle + brains.) MORE than meets the eye; or any quick-and-easy one-word answer.)
Mostly positive NY res here, because I HATE having to stop anything I'm already doing.
Being a perfect being in a crummy world almost gets depressing sometimes. Oh well, dealing with a crowd determined to throw… Continue

Mostly positive, because I HATE having to stop anything I'm already doing.
Being a perfect being in a crummy world almost gets depressing sometimes. Oh well, dealing with a crowd determined to throw themselves in your way doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun anyway.
For me 2011 came in on a bad note, intellectually speaking.
