Those are very good reads, Less. If you have not read it I highly recommend The German Genius by Peter Watson. It provides much in the way of critical background information to understanding the rise of communism/fascism (I agree that they are two faces of the same coin, btw).

 

It is my contention (as a purely amateur historian) that communism was born out of fascism as evidenced by the French revolution, most prominently displayed during The Reign of Terror, as the first modern fascist state. Reading the early proponents of what would become communism lamenting what went wrong with the 'revolution' lends itself to my theory. (proves it to my satisfaction but that's just my opinion)

Nathan, Antony Sutton studied the origins of communism in Russia and fascism in Germany in his book; "Wall street and the Bolshevik Revolution" and "Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler". You are right to mention fascism in your reply. In effect they are two faces of the same coin as explained in a video on this page;

Global elite is backing centralization of power and wealth to fewer and fewer hands. To me it sound much like communism.

Odd that the War on Terror has been a war against public central banks. Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya had government central banks. Iran and Syria still do. The issue must be centralized control of central banks. That means replacing the Bank of International Settlements or transforming it. Government created money created an economic miracle in 1930s Germany. This gave Hitler the power to lead the Germans to their own destruction. I guess that is the global plan, to win the hearts and minds of the entire human race with an economic miracle. Then, we will be led to our own destruction.

Rotten roots produce rotten trees and when we consume from these trees we become part of the rot.

"You will know them by their fruits" and no fruits will grow on a tainted tree.

It's that time again to grow fruit from the peoples tree called liberty :)

Actually I have a lot to say on this, but have refrained since the IMF "Chicago Plan" Rebirth was published. I still must refrain because it would take much more than this page to explain how I knew that it was about time for the IMF to chime in. In the Eighties, we knew that when the purposeful tanking of the economy was achieved that the IMF would ride in with the UN and claim the only preferable debt solution would be a new financial system, which of course consists of SDR's, (Special Drawing Rights), and then the financial portion of the One World Government would be in place. Now, it is SDR's under any other name still smells like a bilge rat... 

This is why I am glad so many are questioning. Unfortunately, these nutcases that believe in NESARA and Jubilee's, and Debt Forgiveness, are in the majority. Only by Repudiating the Onerous and Odious Debt, and bring down the whole system, government and all, will we ever be able to become free. Iceland has not completed their metamorphosis and probably never will, but they sure did get off to a damn good start.

Once we have accomplished this goal, then looking to the book by E. C. Riegel would be a good place to start. I read it years ago, and was influential in shaping my views on the money question.
