Man Turning In Stray Dog to Animal Shelter, Killed by Police After Refusing to Show ID

Dothan, Alabama – 30-year-old Robert Earl Lawrence was shot and killed by police on Tuesday night, after he attempted to do a good deed by turning a stray dog in at a local animal shelter. Instead of accepting this good deed and taking the animal in without question, the workers at the shelter demanded that Lawrence show them his government issued ID.
Instead of giving them his ID, Lawrence showed them notarized and legal identification that was an affidavit instead of Motor Vehicle Administration ID card.

People should really consider calling the police as the last resort because it very often leads to killing of innocent people. Is there something wrong in police training?

It's gone beyond last resort...
In the US, the Supreme Court has ruled on numerous occasions that police officers at all levels of Govt. have NO obligation, duty, requirement to protect you...period.

hmmm yeah well I've gotten a ticket or two that I didn't deserve and that pissed me off, but stories like this should be well researched before used as accusatory evidence to indict police as a whole. I have dealt with sheriffs deputies and police and I will say they have a tough job and they most always indicate a desire to be helpful. The latest incidents at Ferguson and Staten Island have obviously been transformed into race bating opportunities by serial hatemongers like Al Sharpton who makes a living on blackmail. Read Yuri Bezmenov former KGB agent who defected to Canada and lectured across the US about how Communists use their tactics of destabilization to overthrow a society. One of their trademark tactics is to assassinate the character of police and military and then to install their useless pundits. Creating racial tension is another one of their methodologies. Look around you America as Bezmenov warned the signs are everywhere!!
