Who was harmed by Cuffee's alleged and previous posession of marihuana? Who were the victims? But it's ok for a uniformed gang of thugs to assault him...'just doing their jobs' ...grow up humanity.

It wasn't like that when the police was there to protect and not to harass. There has been an enormous "education" program going on for more than a decade, see the training examples on top.

From personal experience and from whats ive read cops has always been kicking peoples asses and protecting the real criminals only difference now is that they have been handed more authority and become more militarized. But thats my opinion. :-)

I don't have such experience. I believe there have always been officers who have abused their power, but today they seem to be trained to do that, which makes a big difference.

I mean just going back to the civil rights movement, anti-war movement and incidents like Harlan county just to take a few older stories the last person you would like to run into was a cop so its still the same in many ways.
