King Solomon is said to have controlled 72 demons listed in the following article: The 72 Spirits of Solomon
I tend to believe that king Solomon, rather than a real king, is a metaphor describing the beginning of the freemasonry. You could call it, Solomon ie. Freemasonry, the cult of Sun.
