Syrian Army seizes US, Israeli-made weapons in rural Damascus (video)
If you ever thought the ISIS rebellion started from grass root Jihadists who managed to save enough money to get an AK47 with a hundred rounds of ammo, think again. The weapons and ammunition found after the rebels had to leave are serious stuff. What happened to the artillery and other heavy weaponry that could use the ammo is anyones guess. "BEIRUT, LEBANON (February 20, 2019, 9:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized another large cache of weapons left behind by the Islamist rebels that once controlled several areas inside rural Damascus.
According to the state-owned Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian Arab Army confiscated a large of U.S. and Israeli-made weapons that were left behind by the Islamist rebels in 2018."
