ATTENTION 12160 MEMBERS: Technical support help needed on 12160.info
Greetings members of 12160,
As most of you already know, we will be transitioning off of Ning in a few months and onto a new platform. 12160.info is still in its infancy and is a work in progress. Are there any members out there that have computer savvy willing to help us out with technical support?
What we need is somebody who is good with programming in PHP and working with mySQL databases. Knowledge of Javascript and the Wordpress CMS platform would be a plus as would knowledge of working with user session cookies or even the extraction of data from Flash objects for use in PHP scripts.

Well Kim, if we do it right we can put somebody to work on specific things without necessarily giving them access to the hosting. Just means we have to do a little management and do the testing ourselves.

Yep, I totally understand and we'll make sure that we screen the person/persons who might be interested in helping us out. My hope is that we find someone that has had a working relationship/friendship with any one of us that we trust. This will be a good thing to bring up at our next admin meeting.
