Casualties from Yellow Vest protests rise

"According to French Mediapart website, 11 people were killed, five lost their hands due to use of grenades and 23 lost their eyesight.

Some 2,000 people were injured at the demonstrations. Of them 268 people suffered head injuries, 15 hand injuries, 64 body injuries, 26 back injuries and 106 leg injuries.

In addition, 95 journalists, 40 high school students and 30 volunteer health officers were injured in the demonstrations and 145 acts of insult and violation of press freedom by French police were recorded.

French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said the National Police Investigation Unit (IGPN) launched 220 criminal investigations on suspicion of police violence against the demonstrations.

Yellow Vest protests began in November 2018 as a reaction to rising fuel costs which later turned into anti-government riots.

Some 8,400 people have been arrested since the beginning of Yellow Vest protests and about 2,000 were remanded in custody."

And this is what they call democracy. Just imagine what dictatorship would look like.

On the other side police officers are committing suicides. What a waste. Macronization has made them cucks who prefer to kill themselves while they could stand up. While ready to die, what keeps them from going against the corruption? Why not oppose the corrupt system and make their lives mean something?

A young agent of 25 years died, Thursday, April 18, in the premises of the direction of public order and traffic, rue Albert, Paris. The young man, who lived in Villejuif, was involved in road safety awareness campaigns in schools and salons.
This is the second suicide police officer, the same day, a 49-year-old woman, mother of two children, this morning at the police station in Montpellier , Herault. Sunday, another policeman had killed himself in the same Parisian unit of the DOPC.
Rally of police Friday in Paris
The police unions have planned to gather Friday at 11 am, in front of the Hôtel Lumière, in the 12th arrondissement, to express their sorrow and anger. On April 12, the Minister of the Interior, Christophe Castaner, announced the creation of a "suicide prevention alert cell" for the national police. He had promised to "go the extra mile" to combat these dramatic situations. To date, there are 28 police suicides in the country."
