HuffPo, Forbes and the National Revie published posts characterizing Epstein as a wealthy businessman with a passion for science in the years following his release, without any mention of his criminal past. He agreed to plead guilty to two prostitution charges in Florida in 2008 as part of a deal to avoid potential federal charges for sexually abusing dozens of underage girls. He was arrested in July 2019 and charged with sex trafficking by federal prosecutors in New York..."
