Prop 37 to Label GMO Foods Fails in California

It appears that the big advertising push by big food companies defeated the California's Proposition 37, a ballot initiative to require labeling of genetically modified foods (GMOs).

The last few weeks has seen a stunning reversal of poll numbers in favor of Prop 37. Nationwide polls consistently show around 90% of Americans support GMO labeling, and a month ago California polls showed over 60% supported labeling...

Voters and FBI put on alert: Massive deceptions found in the No on ...

Campaign supporters of genetically manipulated foods could soon find themselves involved in a federal criminal investigation, related to their own manipulation of voters in California’s hotly debated Proposition 37.

Even as ballots are still being cast in the battle over the measure, which would require labeling for genetically modified (GM) foods, the fight is taking an unexpected turn – straight into FBI headquarters. The agency reportedly contacted an attorney for the CA Right to Know campaign, in response to an official complaint filed with the U.S. Department of Justice on October 18, which cited numerous, and likely criminal, actions by the “No on 37? campaign.

"Prop 37 to Label GMO Foods Fails in California"

Honestly; am not surprised one bit, by such news.

I'm very encouraged by this other news though:

"Voters and FBI put on alert: Massive deceptions found in the No on..."

Thank you James!

Good I hope the FBI can do something good for a change lol, doubtful they will though.

Millions of $$ in intelligent propaganda swayed the idiots to block simple labeling of their food that would COST NOTHING to the consumer. The only reason it might cost more is if the REMOVED the GMO for organic.

We need to ask Monsanto what they eat. Bet they aren't eating GMO's..  Let Monsanto eat GMO if they want it so bad.

There is NO way that prop 37 failed.  That has got to be election fraud.  People want Round Up (glyphospahtes) in their food?  I find that hard to believe that people want to eat corn that isn't labeled that it creates it's own Round Up in it.

Organic cane sugar is actually good for you everything in nature has a part to play ~ my after thought is the legalization of pot being allowed to pass by ballot is such bullsh*t as i do think pot should be legal my thought is it was a concession on the controllers part to divert attention away from the GMO labeling failing it seems impossible that the same people who "voted for pot" pulled the lever against labeling unless of course they HATE THERE CHILDREN !!
