"BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 A.M.) – The political and media adviser to the Syrian President Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban said on Tuesday morning that the nations which claim to fight against terrorism – in particular, the United States of America – are the same countries that back terrorism in Syria in order to prolong the conflict.
During a speech at the Valdai International Discussion Club in Moscow on Tuesday, Dr. Shaaban said that the United States and its allies are taking the fight against terrorism as a pretext to wage wars against countries and plunder their wealth."
