#WomenAgainstFeminism goes viral as people explain why they don't need feminism anymore

A SOCIAL media trend #WomenAgainstFeminism is creating controversy overseas, going viral in the US and re-opening debate on how far women have really come.

The movement originated from a Tumblr post in which photos have been posted of women holding up signs explaining why they don’t need feminism.

The explanations vary from “I do like being feminine”, “catcalling isn’t rape”, “cooking for my husband is not oppression”, “I love to be sexy for my man”, to “I don’t need something that tells me the actions of a slut are okay”.

Here’s a few posts we found on Twitter:

It has been my experience working with supposed "experts" that the majority of them work on attitude, Ego and SWAG Scientific Wild Assed Guessing,

However when it comes to "Government" experts (oxymorons) they are operating on "I am saying what my boss tells me to say whether it is correct or not."

There is a difference between a tech rep and an expert. The tech rep knows what he is doing from experience the expert just makes it up as he thinks it should be.

So happy to see this subject tackled.  As a child of the 60's-70's and the so called "love generation" it seems the entire pro/con discussion has been centered on someone else's "expert" opinions about my wife's and my sexuality, rather than common respect and co-existence in all subjects.  Why?  When that is only a small part of the whole person.  It is simply more background chatter to divide people.  My wife of 27-years just laughs at all the nonsense.  She's my life partner with complimenting views on nearly all subjects - Still I can't make lasagna and she can't change oil in the car -- so what?  I have learned we are not competing -- we are complementing each other because of it.  'Just my 2-cents worth -- ;-)

Men and women compliment each other - together we are stronger - and that is what the PTB fear!

I'll have to agree with all but especially Tara, divide and conquer. I'm not even sure what it is. I like the one at the end. My youngest daughter dresses in Cameo pants and over sized shirts while another daughter dresses in dresses, short shorts, and frilly things. If they're happy I'm happy, to each their own. 5WarVeteran, I have to agree, my wife out shoots me, my youngest out does me with a Bow & Arrow. Don't surprise me though after watching 2 of my 3 be born. I couldn't do that, I ain't women enough to give birth, that is tough. Plus I tell my wife and daughters that anything that can bleed once a month for a week and not die I ain't pissing it off. :)

I also agree with the ladies above. I have never considered a woman less than a man I believe in equal pay for equal work. Men may be stronger but women have better aim.
